Would the Anti-Science Loonies Please Shut Up?

You fools who dispute global warming:
HILL CITY, Kan. — This town on the parched plains, best known for its bountiful pheasant hunting and museum of oil history, recently earned a new, if unwelcome, distinction — the center of America’s summer inferno.

For five days last week, a brutal heat wave here crested at 115 degrees. Crops wilted. Streets emptied. Farmers fainted in the fields. Air-conditioners gave up. Children even temporarily abandoned the municipal swimming pool. Hill City was, for a spell, in the ranks of the hottest spots in the country.

Hill City, Kansas. One hundred fifteen degrees Fahrenheit. Unheard of at that location.

But Kansas is filled with religious extremists who hate science and defiantly refuse to smell the coffee of reality.

Looks like such stupidity leads to hell on earth for the fool believers in idiocy.

You are as stupid as the AGW sceptic that claims it must be nonsense because they had particularly cool summer

Even if you were right Simone sweetie, and I'm definitely not saying you are, what good would it do? Science can't stop or reverse global warming if it's occurring. Religion certainly isn't speeding up the process of global warming even if it is somehow a scientifically recognized fact. There's no way to neutralize the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere already, or to take them out of the products currently on the shelves and just waiting to be bought and used. The whole thing is over far too late to be of any use.

Volcanoes do more to contribute to global warming than an unchecked industrial society. Toxic gases, giant ash clouds, thousands of degrees of heat being released anytime there's anything approaching an eruption, it's not a pretty picture. Molten rock isn't the most environmentally friendly substance you'll ever encounter.

Only you could make so many bigoted comments about a news story that just so happens to mention Kansas.

Simone might be part volcano with all of the toxic substances she releases. There's hate speech, bigoted opinions and general intolerance for non-left-wing liberals. They're the kind of people that add to global warming just by talking at you.

But volcanoes have been here far longer than heavy industry, aerosol cans, and car exhaust. If you note, the pre-industrial global CO2 level was ~280ppm. In the last 250 years, we raised that to ~394ppm. (Trends in Carbon Dioxide)

And CO2 is just one of many gases that we are throwing into our atmosphere at alarming rates. You can show no evidence that volcanic activity is any more active now than in the last 800,000 years when CO2 levels remained between 180-280ppm, therefore the changes in gases and the concurrent changes in temperature cannot be associated with volcanic activity. There must be some other logical explanation where all that atmospheric CO2, methane, CFC's, water vapor, etc. is coming from...hmmmm.

Would you prefer to go back to pre-industrial revolution standards of living? You can't have it all, you can't make an omelet without breaking an egg or two. If you want your modern creature comforts you're gonna need to put up with some degree of pollution in exchange.

So you are an expert in this like you were about the economics of sending money out of the country?

The problem with letting people like you call the shots is that you really have no idea what you are talking about.

It's something I see in a lot of conservatives.

Obama's a liberal and he didn't even know his individual mandate was a tax. He swore up and down it was nothing more than a simple penalty but the courts said he was wrong and that he didn't know a damn thing what he was talking about.

What if God really is destroying various cities and towns because of the sins of anti-biblical radicals? To accept responsibility one first must think they are responsible

Sorry to nit-pick, but heat is a form of energy and is not measured in degrees but in joules, calories, etc...

No we did not, the steady temperatures and CO2 content of the earth atmosphere before industry is mythical column #2 in the AGCC hoax temple (second only to the assertion that CO2 drives shifts in global temperature).

Can you show that CO2 levels remained between 180 and 280 ppm in he past 800,000 years?

Having no idea what one is talking about can substitute as a working definition for leftist. If 80% of rightist have no idea what they are talking about 99% of leftist don't.

Can I? No. Can ice core data? Yes. Unless you wish to present some Jaworowskian aternative theory...

Indeed, because we all know humans don't release millions of tons of methane, CO2, water vapor, ect. each year.

Sorry Freedom, we're not getting into this, as I don't argue "bad analogies".
