Obama - Failure of our Times

In another massive display of Obama's failure as a leader, as a President and as a person of integrity, the House massively votes against his pathetic budget by 414 - 0.

I cannot fathom a greater example of a Presidents failure to lead than this pathetic clown's efforts to divide this nation in his desperate attempt to get re-elected using a hate filled transparent attack on individuals and American success.

How can anyone support someone so profoundly inept unless they are only using HALF their brains; or perhaps not thinking at all?

0-414 vote: House clobbers budget proposal based on Obama's 2013 plan

The House on Wednesday night unanimously rejected an alternative budget proposal based on President Obama's 2013 budget plan, dispatching it in a 0-414 rout.

The vote came just hours after the White House cast the pending vote as a political "gimmick," an apparent attempt to downplay what many expected to be an ugly-looking vote for the White House.

Yes Obama, this was a "political gimmick!"

    November cannot come soon enough.

    How about the real truth...

This was an Alternative Budget BASED on Obama's 2013 budget proposal and sponsored by a Republican ( Rep. Mick Mulvaney R-S.C.)

He used Obama"s top line numbers and revenue numbers but left out all the specifics, so of course no one was going to vote for it. Then he tried to pass it off as "Obama's" budget...

A political ploy to make Obama look bad....

How about telling the full story...

You are absolutely correct here. Obama's true budget is horrific but the truth of the vote is what you post.

You're right, how silly of me to think that Democrats or this buffoon of a President would have anything to do with a BUDGET PLAN or even present a comprehensive budget; they have failed to do so now since 2008.

Another illustration of the massive failure of leadership the Democrat Party and this President represent.

Right on! The Obama administration is a colossal financial disaster. If he doesn't have another trillion dollars to XXXX he can't do anything. Tax and spend - that's all those liberal turkeys know how to do.

First off, there were the huge deficits piled up by Reagan, Bush and Bush, especially Bush II who kept a lot of his deficit off the books, like the costs of his two wars, the costs of his tax cuts for his rich friends, the cost of his very expensive present to the pharmaceutical industry in Medicare Part D.

This is what comprises some 80% of Obama's deficit. Obama was tired of the deficit lying of George W. Bush and brought all of Bush's lying numbers into the sunlight.

Guess you find it kind of blinding, ER?

Maybe you forgot the Democrats reneging on cutting spending under the Reagan Budget deal? Or how Reagan had to rebuild the military after years of neglect under pansy-a*s Carter? And you surely must have forgotten 9/11 and the costly aftermath after Bush 43.

But what's pathetic about your excuse making is that you and that imbecile Obama don't seem to care one bit if we go bankrupt. You just keep spending and spending and asking for more and more taxes.

    You're pathetic.

All that talk and still you prove nothing other than the fact that you suffer from the same delusion as so many others who think Republicans actually know how the economy works. The Last Balanced Budget we had was under a Democrat. The Last Surplus we had was under a Democrat. Republicans , most specifically under Reagan and Bush , have done nothing more than filter the nations wealth to the top while killing the Middle Class. Just look back to the W.Bush years and show me exactly where republican policies have worked to Create Jobs or balance the budget. You can't, but it would be fun to see you try .

The last balanced budget was under a Democrat?

Prior to Republicans assuming control of Congress in 1995, President Clinton refused to embrace the idea of a balanced budget. Clinton's first budget called for an astronomical tax hike of $220 billion that Democrats in Congress increased to $240 billion. Clinton's first three budgets -- released in 1993, 1994, and 1995 (for FYs 1994, 1995, and 1996 respectively), left deficits of $241.4 billion, $201.2 billion, and $194 billion by his own estimation (which CBO scored at $228.5 billion, $206.2 billion, and $276 billion respectively). In the meantime he vetoed the Republicans' budget in 1995 -- a budget that would have cut taxes and been the first to have balanced since 1969. Not until election year 1996 did he even aspire to balance, producing a budget that left an $81 billion deficit in its final year. rpcsenate.gov

    The Republicans forced his hand.

    You're busted.

Right wing talking points don't make them facts ezridden. The fact is Clinton and the Democrats passed budget measures in 93 that eventually balanced the budget. His last four years in office we had a balanced budget and he turned over a surplus to the next republican which was subsequently spent on ignorant tax cuts. Bush never had a balanced budget and he had a republican congress for his first 6 years... so it appears you are the busted one.

Their "balanced budget" was based entirely on phantom revenue....they theorized that the tax cuts would generate so much new economic activity that they would pay for themselves and generate new revenue. We now know that they were WRONG and clinton was right....their "balanced budget" would have resulted in the worst budgetary shortfall in the history of the nation.

Clinton was already running deficits and, like all liberals, running the country into the ground. He never even seriously considered a balanced budget until the Republicans forced his hand.

Same with that lame-brained Obama. He doesn't care if the country goes bankrupt. He wants us to be a 3rd world socialist nation. He wants to spend trillions more so he can have his elitist ego and legacy fed, while leaving the next administrations to clean up his mess.

    Look at this photo:

Newsweek cover declares Obama 'the first gay president' - latimes.com

ROTFLOL!! Dumbo ears. Looks like he's trying to find a bathroom to deliver a 14 pound growler.

He needs to go to the store and buy a hat before someone stretches a rubber over his head.

    Liberalism sucks.

Just like your knowledge of the Bible you lack in History as well. Clinton was running deficits inherited from Bush 1, but once he passed HIS budget with 0 republican votes the Deficits turned into surpluses. The republicans only jumped on board in the mid 90s so they could later claim that they were the ones who balanced the budget. The reality is that republican trickle down policy has never worked and doesn't work now. They won' t allow Obama to pass a Budget or do what anyone with a brain knows needs to be done because they know if they allow Him to implement HIS policies the republican mythical economic plan would be done for good. Right now we're still running under Bush's Economic Policies and still Obama is managing to keep our heads just above the surface.
