And yet the poor black people seem so much like the majority.

*Sigh* Now that the bill is passed Obama is probably dancing with his wife around the oval office. A huge celebration for them. It only makes sense that the republicans win now. They are the lesser of two evils. And if the only ones getting voted in are republicans and democrats then we have a better chance of repealing this bill with the republicans. Hopefully. They may only use that as their campaign promise so they can get elected, and then just destroy our country even more. Durant is right, a great civilization cannot be destroyed from without unless it destroys itself from within.

The Democrats should have added a resignation to the bottom of this bill before they signed it. They are going to get creamed in November. The American voter tends to have a short memory, but not that short.

I wasn't really surprised by simone's statement. Randomly accusing your opponent of racism is a tactic straight from the liberal playbook.

It is just one of their tactics. Calling someone a bigot is another. MA and Simone have both of these on speed dial.

Simone. I'm taking orders for crying towels for all of my leftist friends for delivery in November. How many can I put you down for?

Sartre, I recommend very strongly that you keep them for yourself.

    You will need them.

Not me. I'm planning on getting cramps writing checks for non-Democratic Party candidates and toasting with some Dom Perignon 1996.

I was given several bottles of Dom Perignon 2000. Tell you what, you provide the toasting beverage for the Nov. 2010 democrat shellacking and I'll provide for the Nov. 2012 funeral.

2000 was a good year for DP from what I saw.
