It is wishful thinking. The Democrats will win again, but by a smaller margin. The Republicans are just too out of touch for most Americans to support them. They were unable to present a believable working strategy for healthcare reform, let alone even recognize that there was a problem. They were unable to find similar positions and goals, and make alliances outside their own circles. They were very hamstrung by their rhetoric.
As I saw on this board you did yourselves in during the primary and general election campaigns, with these failings often pointed out to you, but you stubbonrly insisted on going on down the same road.
Then losing the elections grandly, and after insisting time and again, against all reason, you would not.

Hopefully they can rebuild this watered down form of "reform" to truly change things for the better... I said it before my only hope was for the bill to be strengthened after being torn asunder in the Senate. We shall see if it is "true" reform...

By voting against a bill 57% of voters do not want?
I agree Republicans are out of touch but the democrats are even more out of touch.

What are you talking about? Is this another delusion of yours like the polling of single-payer and the debunking of Rasmussen. Way to fail.

It is reform. Time to buy stock in Pfizer and become a doctor at a hospital. Well, who knows actually...the only guarantee out of this bill is that costs will not go down and certainly not "grow slower". The Senate bill is an embarrassment

Not time to become a doctor. The plan calls for cutting $200+Billion FROM payments to doctors, not an increase. They took the shaft on this one.

Don't let this fool you. That was for Medicare only and they have already accounted for this. Doctors will make bank as demand increases.
