So what? The games that're most violent are marked as M for Mature, stores are instructed not to sell M rated games to anyone below 18. Unless you're going to argue in favor of a ban on M rated games, which would run afoul of the First Amendment, you've really got nothing here.

Why are stupid, obese American kids inside playing stupid, mind-sucking video games when they could be outside climbing trees and battling each other with faux swords and other weaponry?

Because outside doesn't have air conditioning.

Because schools have forbidden physical contact games at recess, claiming they might get hurt and it would make them liable for suing.

    Agreed

Video games sometimes let them challange each other.
I see nothing bad in them.
Would you rather have your kids fight with sticks getting scars or let them battle each other in Call of Duty?

I'd go for the sticks and scars any day. It teaches children about consequences.

I don't want to get a call from the police saying that my son is in juvy and that I have to pick him up from there. I am not sure if it gets as serious as juvenile prison but if its a fight outside of school police can sure as hell get involved.

Aah, so you're talking about real fighting as opposed to play fighting, whereas I am talking about play fighting as opposed to play fighting. You see if children are playing with sticks as opposed to playing with video games, they learn the consequences of their actions. They might get a scrape here and there. If they are just blowing things up in a game, then people die, large amounts of damage are done but all can be reset with no consequences.

It doesn't even matter. If police sees like they are doing any harm to each other(even if its a play fight) he may not really arrest them but he can yell at them or give them and the parent a talk. There is only of course a small chance of it happening like if the police is driving by, but the children really would rather not get in trouble. Stay home. And challange each other and themselves in video games.

Sounds like the police round your way are no fun at all.

Perhaps they could play these games in their back yard, out of sight of your over protective police.

    Learn about consequences .

Maybe even get some exercise - heaven forbid.

    "Heaven forbid"?

Have you come out of your Sodom and Gomorrah wasteland to the point that you now believe there is a heaven?

Good! Maybe there's hope for you yet.
