My brothers and I are all expert gamers, runners, and fighters. Who says there is no happy medium. (Get a mario game if your child is so unstable that he/she is so affected by violent video games). What I am saying is that you can both play video games for hours AND break plastic lightsabers against your brothers' backs (goooood times...) and still function normally. (Or maybe you need to man-up).

im very peaceful and gentle in real life, but i just played left 4 dead 2 for about 2 hours. and i started playing gory video games when i was like 6 (original doom anyone?) but yet grew up fine. and i know many other people who are the same. i dont condone someone playing video games when theyre under the age rating, but violence in video games and violence in real life are two very different things.
its like racing games. if you play racing games, will you be dangerous on the roads? most likely not.

Ah, we agree on something.
If a child cannot seperate the consequeces of life and the lack of them in video games, then you have what we call a sociopath.
