A classic would be the old pitfall on the Atari.
Metroid was a great game for the NES as was Contra.
When I rate games until PS1 IŽd say that all the Konami Games for the NES and SNES were fantastic.

Perfect Dark for 64 was the best... I'd really like them make a newer one.
Just started Final Fantasy Ten... Never played a FF game before.
Diablo II expansion is alrght.

I really don't have much patience for video games but I do enjoy the occasional bout of Snood.

Alpha Centaury (they just need to upgrade their AI)
Civilization (Not as good a graphics setup as Alpha Centary and a bit more linear, more predictable)
Age of Empires derivations (For the continuous game, rather than turn-based as the above)
(The above are all strategy games, which gives a lot more flexibility and personal touch to a game than just the shoot-them-up linear games.)

Have you tried Rise of Nations yet? it has A little Risk, a little Ages of Empire, and a little Civilization in it. I like it...

Perfect Dark is my favorite.
Next is Timesplitters 2.
Following that is the Lord of the Rings by Interplay.
And then all the final fantasies.

Best Games? Hmm, by system I think it would have to fall like this:
(I realize many of these games were originally arcade, but Im listing them as they come to mind)
NES: Kirby's Dreamland, Megaman 2 or 3, and FFII
SNES: Zelda: Link to the Past (This game never gets old), Chronotrigger, Ogrebattle, Super Metroid, Sunset Riders, Super Mario RPG, Killer Instinct, and UMK3.
N64: (this system really blows) Goldeneye, i guess
PSX: FF7 and Rival Schools
PS2: Soul Caliber II and FFX
Arcade: Marvel Super Heroes (and any of the "vs." fighting game franchise esp. Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter), DDR, and the Metal Slug Series.
PC: Lemmings, Space Quest Series, Kings Quest Series, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Prisoner of Ice, Broken Sword I and II, Return to Zork, original Doom and Quake, and The Incredible Machine (I know I'm an adventure freak and that most of these games date back 5-10 years).
If I think of any more, I'll post them.
If I had a choice between normal heaven and pie heaven, I would choose pie heaven. It might not be real, but if it is, it would be well worth it.

Best PC game.
My best game on the computer would have to be either Star Wars Force Commander or X-Wing Alliance. Both fairly old games, I know - but they are still very fun to play. Both games are multi-player and can be played on-line - if you have quite a lot of money. I sometimes play X-Wing Alliance on the network against my friends to whom I slaughter.
