Yes, right. These protetsts have to do with charges that Putin rigged the last election. The deomstrations have been picked up by the MSM, but as you say, all is sort of blanked out recently.

I hope it is a new Russian Revolution! I hope the old status quo gouard gets tipped over all over the world; which seems to be happening, in thic country as well. And about damned time too.

I think you're right. People aren't putting up with any bull from their governments anymore, which is exciting

    Summary election results in Russia:

    United Russia - 49.32%

    Communist party - 19.19%

    A Just Russia - 13.24%

    Liberal Democratic Party - 11.67%

    Yabloko - 3.43%

    Patriots of Russia - 0.97%

    Right Cause - 0.60%

And now three question for you:

1.So if the voting was rigged in favor of United Russia ( I agree that it was regged ),then are you ready to recognize the victory of communists?

2.Why don't you trouble about your own revolution? The OWS movement is much stronger than Russian protests and much closer to you,you know.

3.If West and it's citizens are so fond of Justice Throughout the World and especially in Russia, why did they support Yeltsin regime in October 1993?

    1. I don't care. If the Russian people voted for them, than they should win. Russia is responsible for happenings in Russia, not any other country, contrary to the beliefs of USA circa 1947.

    2. What makes you think I am not interested in OWS? What makes you think that because I've started this thread for nothing more than discussion, that I've put all of my life's efforts into it and nothing else? If I knew it was going to be this hard to talk about this issue, I wouldn't have bothered.

    3. Because I was four years old then.

Russia is a mess. America is partly to blame for this situation.

However, I am, at this time, more concerned with the mass corruption, voter fraud and the lack of press cover age of these situations right here in the good old US of A.
