Republicans Better Educated Republicans in the general public tend to be better educated than Democrats. In the 1994-2002 General Social Surveys (GSS), Republicans have over 6/10ths of a year more education on average than Democrats. Republicans also have a higher final mean educational degree. Further, Republicans scored better than Democrats on two word tests in the GSS--a short vocabulary test and a modified analogies test. If one breaks down the data by party affiliation and political orientation, the most highly educated group is conservative Republicans, who also score highest on the vocabulary and analogical reasoning tests. Liberal Democrats score only insignificantly lower than conservative Republicans. The least educated subgroups are moderate and conservative Democrats, who also score at the bottom (or very near the bottom) on vocabulary and analogy tests. - Prof. Jim Lindgren, law professor at Northwestern University and director of the Demography of Diversity Project More below: VDARE.com: 11/14/04 - The 2004 IQ Wars: So Much For The Candidates—What About The Voters? Conservatives and Christians Give More to Charities, ABC says As Doug explores in his post below, people of faith give far more to charities than non-religious people, and conservatives give more to the poor than do liberals. That’s the finding of a study by author Arthur Brooks and the conclusion trumpeted by a John Stossel report on ABC this week. The report says: “The single biggest predictor of whether someone will be charitable is his or her religious participation. Religious people are more likely to give to charity, and when they give, they give more money: four times as much. And Arthur Brooks told me that giving goes beyond their own religious organization: "Actually, the truth is that they're giving to more than their churches," he says. "The religious Americans are more likely to give to every kind of cause and charity, including explicitly non-religious charities." Christian conviction and conservative ideology increases the likelihood that an individual will give to charities—and not just to their churches, but to a variety of religious and secular causes. As Christians, we give out of obligation—Scripture tells us to help the poor—but even more out of gratitude to God for his goodness. Liberals who see care for the poor as a government responsibility, give far less as individuals. At the same time, they describe conservatives as non-caring, and Christians as exclusionary and hypocritical. This could not be further from the truth, and these findings document it. Stones Cry Out: Conservatives and Christians Give More to Charities, ABC says Liberals are uneducated tightwads.

If there were any doubts about your elitism you have just dispelled them. The fact that you believe that anyone who disagrees with you is an uneducated, ignorant XXXXX and those who agree are the intelligent ones is there for all to see. A major university where people are more intelligent? Have you ever watched the documentary Indoctrinate U? (I'm sure you have since you are so much more intelligent than the rest of us poor schmoes) Know what it pointed out? 95% of all professors at major universities considered themselves "liberal" or "democrat" or both. In conclusive studies, upper echelons of the administrative system were shown to give preference to professors who were presumed to share the administrations social preferences. Those who were considered "conservative" or "republican" were often shown to receive less support if not openly discriminated against in regards to tenure and status. Hence: a vicious circle. Left leaning professors were more likely to receive promotions into upper administration! (Where they then give favoritism to the "smart ones" and shuffle the "dumb consevatives" to menial roles.) Wow! And I thought you libs were against the "good ol' boy" system! So, the reason you believe the people at major universities are more intelligent follows with your own elitist views. You've swallowed your own kool-aid. You've been indoctinated to believe you are more intelligent, therefore, you see anyone who disagrees with you as a poor, mindless feeb! You have no idea that you've been brainwashed! Brainwashing is the realm of inferiors! Not you! You're too smart! You're not a white supremacist...you're a LIBERAL supremacist! A BIGOT in your own special way! The sad thing is...and it is so pathetic that it's almost funny...is you can't even see it! The smartest person here, yet you can't figure it out! All we XXXXXX can instantly recognize it, and the super-duper mind of the century is blind as a bat! Ask everyone here! It's stares us all in the face every time you type in another one of your arrogant and condescending responses, yet you are so far brainwashed, you'll never grasp the depths of it! You are in a hole you can never get out of. You've slipped off the edge, and even those who are all the way to the left look like they're too far to the right of you. Anyone who tries to lower you a ladder is just one of those commoners...those uneducated...those....what did you call everyone who doesn't agree with you? Quote:
No. I get it. You mean exactly what you say. Those who haven't swallowed the leftist kool-aid are.....inferior. Bigot.

What I'd like to know is why Republicans are evil racists when the first Democrats started the civil war, were die-hard Confederates, enacted the Jim Crow laws, founded the Ku Klux Klan, and FDR was a secret admirer of Nazism.

And these so-called Democrats became the core of the Republican party during the Nixon years.

simone:
It appears you perfectly exhibit the problem that is rotting America at it's core in the present times: a mental focus that the government is the solution to all things, and an aversion to all things anti-socialist. You may be getting "raped", as you so eloquently noted, but it is not by Fox News, better take another look. Besides if you are getting raped, there must be some evidence, so be my guest and make your case. |

Her above quote appears to completely ignore my entire post as if it never existed. This is another confirmation in a long string of other confirmations of my theory. She is blind! What a bigot!

And don't forget Al Gore Sr led the fight for the democrats in their unified fight against the civil rights act and integration right up until 1964 when Johnson submitted a watered down version of the much stronger bill the Republicans had before him. They only did this because the national public outcry became more than the democrats could continue to squash and avoid. I marvel at how the blacks have been such staunch supporters of the party which held them down for so long and has continued to do for decades by making political promises every 4 years which they never fulfilled. All they have done for minorities is create a welfare state which held them in poverty.
