sure, but i think only repeated sex offenders should be listed. i believe in a second chance.

That's a terrible idea. If they're such a serious risk to re-offend, they should be imprisoned indefinately.

if they are not imprisoned, for whatever reason, i think they deserve a second chance... and even when they are out of jail. they served their time and may have come to terms. a lot of child molestors were abused as a child and may have done so "unintensionally."

Many sex offenders do not serve jail sentences due to mental illness. They are at even greater risk to re-offend.

abused children can become, in a sense, mentally unstable due to molestation. when they get older, they may repeat what happened to them. mental illness is another thing... they almost "can't help it."

I like to view the registry in my area. I'm surrounded by insanity, but I'm sure the Rich/Middle class neighborhoods are no better.

I think that it is only right to post sex offenders where the public can see who they are. I agree that murderers are just as dangerous, but they spend 25yrs to life for that offense. By the time a murderer is even sentenced, everyone knows about it anyways. There are several sex offenders in my city and they have all re- offended. There are 90 registered sex offenders in my city and if they eachre offend that is 180 victims. That is way to many kids to risk for the privacy of a mentally disturbed individual.

They should only be listed if they re-offend. Many times it is just an underage person lying about what happened to get revenge. If a person re-offends it shows that they are in fact mentally ill and thus a cronic sex offender.

1. Not fearing death and

2. Seeking death and then embracing it.
