OOOOOH. Sounds like a great plot for a B movie or a comic book.

Maybe someone in your family can read and explain the comic book to you.

“For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.” - Robert Jastrow

RU-486 Mifepristone. It's an abortifacient that when taken causes the termination of a pregnancy of up to 49 days in 92% of women. When taken after 49 days, it has been shown to be only 77% effective and therefore under the statutory definition of what the FDA considers safe.

It is NOT the morning after pill.

It has been known to cause the death of patients. And has been linked conclusively to "a high rate of birth defects such as fused joints, growth retardation and a paralysis of the face called Moebius syndrome."

It has also caused ectopic pregnancies (outside of the womb) in which even with a failed abortion attempt, the child cannot survive.

Yes an abortion pill does exist...

I would agree with the Military having an abortion pill.

I would also agree with them using it.

    Here is my reasoning:

A female serving on an American base, like Fort Bragg, NC, get pregnant on accident, then she gets orders that she has to go overseas. Well let's say that female would rather go fight in war rather than stay home and have to deliver the baby. So she goes and gets the abortion pill and takes it, then she can go serve her country.
I am thinking about running for congress and hopefully one day being the first gay president.

Besides, the restriction is that no military funding, or health facilities can be used to perform an abortion. A pharmacy is a STORE.
Three different methods can be used for what is known as a Medical Abortion. This is a non-surgical method of aborting a child (different than the day after pill)

The OP refers to Levonorgestrel, a synthetic progestogen. AKA the "morning after" pill. It suppresses ovulation, inhibits fertilisation, and changes the endometrium to prevent implantation. Taken within 72 hours of coitus.
