I don't have the time to continue this tonight.

    Can we resume tomorrow?

You don't need to ask my permission to make a post. Continue when you have time - I will do the same. I would restate, though, that this would make for better posting in the 'challengers corner' thread, as it is highly relevant and is basically a continuation of that argument, from the latest post onwards (even if we now seem to be heading slightly in circles). Plus I don't want to lose sight of my posts with romebigred, which made for very interesting reading.

Where you post, though, just as with when, is up to you.
The truth may be out there, but lies are in your head.

Those who promote, defend, and/or enable the infanticide of abortion WILL one day answer to God for it.

You don't butcher an innocent baby for the sins or convenience of the parent(s).

He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.” - Robert Jastrow

Yea like you could recognize them.
The left lost the ability, use logic or know what truth is with the embrace of moral relativism. Thus you get moral equivalence between acts like detaining terrorists and cutting off heads of innocents.
If lawmakers and anti-gun groups were serious about reducing or ending gun crimes, they would turn their wrath toward the criminals. As it is, their efforts are not the solution to gun crimes they are part of the problem.
Even if you gave liberals the answers on an ethics exam, they’d fail.

That's alot to read through, so I beg forgiveness if Im repeating something.

#1 Abortion proponents claim that a fertilized egg is just a single cell -like any other cell of the human body and is only "potential life". However, this single cell is alive by any biological definition of life and defines the beginning of each new human being. This single cell is unique from both the father's and mother's cells, so it cannot be defined as just part of the woman's body.

#2 9 months of mild discomfort is not life threatening.

#3 A woman that has been raped needs counciling, not surgery. An abortion is traumatic mentally, emotionally, and physically and putting a woman through more trauma after being raped is cruelty.

    #4 I tithe.

As to #1-3 what special dispensation did you get that makes you think that your word is law in the universe.

As to #4, good for you, but irrelevant to the topic.

    Nope.

The fact that we agree just goes to show that great minds think alike.

The scientificly proven fact that the baby has unique human DNA from the moment of conception is not by my
    authority.

How else would we define someone as a person? I can see alot of flaws in determining a persons rights by their size, color or level of independence.

#2 women have been been having babies for a very long time, I have had a couple myself and survived. LOL

#3 Counciling for rape victims is common sense whether they get pregnant or not, I didn't invent the idea.

#4 And tithing can be the difference between life and death for over 8 million people every year in the USA, who benefit from the many life saving services.

A woman that has been raped and is with child as a result should be able to decide what to do with her child in that situation. Denying her abortion and thus forcing her to give birth to and raise this child is cruel. Possibly the woman would consider this child to be a constant reminder of the incident; maybe she refuses to raise a child who is a product of rape, or maybe she would want to raise the child anyways. If I were a woman and this happened to me, I would at least want the option - the choice would still be mine, but at least I would have a choice. I'm no feminist, but I am all for giving women (and men) choices as opposed to not giving them choices.

Lots of things can remind someone of a traumatic event. The truth is that the baby is not responsible for the rape. displacement of responsibility and blame , or using the baby as a scapegoat is not going help her resolve or avoid bad feelings in a healthy way. In fact this is a technique used by verbal abusers. And no one is forcing anyone to raise a child. She can leave it at any hospital or police station at any time.
