Tell me how God creates mankind with free will but at the same time doesn't allow man to sin?

    You're on.
Yo err because you have abandoned logic and embraced irrationality,

Your argument lies on the faulty premise of existence of specifically your god and truth of bible. However, a discussion on that would change the subject of the thread.

BUT, even if your god did exist, it would be a pretty impotent entity its plans for mankind got derailed as a result of Roe vs. Wade.

Unless, of course, his plans were based on the idea that his followers were not a bunch of evil people who would stand around and do nothing while millions of babies are killed. In that case, the free will of his followers, their choice to be evil, pretty much screwed him.
James 2:14-17 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? . . . Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Revelation 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.

So, basically, he needs his followers to do his dirty work and when they fail him, he says "I did not see that coming"? First, from omnipotent to impotent and now from omniscient to ignorant? Before reality, god is losing his powers faster than Superman loses to Kryptonite.

I'm talking about how "free will" is even possible.

Surely, someone with degrees in both theology and science would have run across the problem of free will and determinism at some point.

I love arguements based on religion. Their whole premise is based on something they cannot even establish even exist. Then their argument fails, they'll try and scare you into submitting to the absurd. The icing on the cake is that they don't even have to own up to their actions. "I don't hate fags, GOD hates fags!"

Inevintabally, someone is gonna tell me that I'm gonna burn in hell for what I just said. Of course they are assuming there is one, and that this is an actually possibility.

I have no idea if there is a supreme being or not. No one knows. I am however sure that the Bible cannot possibly be the word of an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-good being.

Well...you know...I have studied a lot of different christian religions and one thin that they all pretty much have in common and can agree on is that the god of the christian religions is pretty much a semi retarded 4 yr old.

I have four (4) independent, historical Gospels, plus assorted epistles and other information that contend the accounts of Jesus Christ are legitimate. You have denial.

The only people I see saying that around here are you spiritually-challenged skeptics.

You would be highly mistaken about that. You atheists, or whatever you are, are in the minority in America. Don't ever forget that.

You didn't mind commenting about God ('the Lord's prophets') just before I wrote my question above to you, so why are you running scared or bugging out now?

Looks to me like you couldn't answer the question. So where's the beef?

Answer the question? Tell me how God creates mankind with free will but at the same time doesn't allow man to sin?

Your words speak for themselves, bigot. Thank goodness we "infidels" have the protection of the Constitution, so that you can't have your majoritarian religious tyranny.

Matthew, go take your anti-Christian hate speech on down the pike. It's nonsense and it makes you look small.

Obviously ez has gotten a bad deal in life and religion is the only way he thinks he can set the unfairness right.

Life sucks for ez but with everyone else going to hell he feels a little better about his own unfortunate existence.

What happened to you ez that made you feel so cheated by life?
